Ushers & Nurse’s Aide Ministry

Psalm 84: 4-10

       4  Blessed are they that dwell in Thy house: they will be still praising Thee.   Se’lah.

       5  Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

       6  Who passing through the valley of Ba’ca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

       7  They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

       8  O LORD God of host, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob.    Se’lah.

       9  Behold, O God our shield and look upon the face of Thine anointed.

       10  For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

The Ushers and Nurse’s Aide Ministry of the Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church is under the direction of President, Sister Brenda Jones, and under the direct leadership of Pastor James Edward Lawson Jr.  The first faces seen upon entering the Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church are the warm, smiling faces of the Ushers and Nurses Aides.  In keeping with their charge, their joyous attitudes, welcoming spirits, and commitment to service of the Lord by serving the saints of God, continue to make our visitors and church family members alike feel welcome.

The Ushers & Nurse’s Aides are in the process of selecting new uniforms for both Ushers, and Nurse’s Aides.  Currently accepting new members, this ministry rehearses the Saturday before the forth Sunday of each month at 5:30pm.
