Ecclesiastes 11: 9-10, 12: 1-2

       9  Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou that for all these things God will bring thee to judgment.

       10  Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Ecclesiastes 12: 1-2

       1  Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

       2  While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain;

The Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church is under the direction of the President, First Lady C. J Lawson, and under the direct leadership of Pastor James E. Lawson Jr.  As we are instructed in Proverbs 22: 6, we are to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”; We find ourselves busy giving our youth a solid foundation on which to stand, by the use of a strong contemporary and progressive teaching ministry that also includes the tried and true traditional teachings of God’s Word.  The attention the everyday needs of the youth of Greater Faith, in addition to the tools imparted to them for successful living for life has made our youth ministry attractive not only the youth of the Greater Faith Church, but also those present in the Body of Christ throughout our Nation and the World.
